Since 2008, Global Hand-washing Day has been trying to promote hygiene and to motivate the world's population the wash their hands with soap. The idea was founded at the August 2008 World Water Week held in Stockholm, and urged the importance of disease prevention through hand-washing. Throughout the programme they have managed to gain the support of schools in over 70 countries.Did you know:
