July 21st: The Day Man Walked on the Moon

On this day in 1969 Neil Armstrong became the first man to walk on the Moon. So many legendary quotes arose from that day:
"Houston, Tranquility Base here. The Eagle has landed."
"That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."
"We came in peace for all mankind."
Armstrong and his colleague Edwin 'Buzz' Aldrin spent 21 hours on the Moon in total, and when they returned to Earth, they spent the next 21 days in quarantined isolation to avoid any contamination of alien particles. Since they found none, this procedure was dropped from future trips to the Moon. July 21st 1969 meant enormous things for Space travel for humans, and kick-started a frenzy of Space related experiments and journeys. Or was it all a hoax?! Does the shadow from the fluttering American flag cast doubt in your mind? Or are you confident that the 1969 Moon landings took place? Where were you on July 21st 1969?
